The House of Parliament & Big Ben
The seat of the UK government, situated in a glorious gothic building on the bank of the river Thames. You can watch committees and debates for free in the House of Commons and the House of Lords during the week. During Summer you have the opportunity to visit some premises of the Parliament via a guided tour or with an audio guide
The Big Ben is a clock tower which unfortunately cannot be visited by foreign tourists. This landmark of London is known for its beautiful architecture, historical significance, and characteristic bell sound that can be heard at every full hour.
Buckingham Palace
Magnificent home to the Queen and Monarchy of the UK and Commonwealth
The Buckingham Palace Tour operates through the summer months, with the Queen opening her doors to visitors. Royal enthusiasts can visit the State Rooms of the palace, follow in the footsteps of the UK’s Kings and Queens, and see some of the incredible treasures in the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Vermeer. It’s a very popular tour and booking ahead is essential.
Change of Guards Parade
The Horse Guards Parade square is a huge parade ground. Forever steeped in tradition and ceremony, the Palace's Changing of the Guards is a daily phenomenon, which is watched by millions. The Change of Guards takes place at 10am every day (a 30 min walk from the hotel or take the bus to Victoria Street and walk for 5 min to Buckingham Palace). Two horse guards also stand in front of the gate towards Whitehall street from 10:00 till 16:00 o'clock-the perfect opportunity for pictures!
The London Eye
See London from a new perspective whilst riding this 135-metre-tall wheel. London Eye is one of the most visited attractions in London and offers an amazing view of the city. With a height of about 135 m, the London Eye is currently the second highest viewing option, after the Shard skyscraper, in London (as of 2020). A ride on the London Eye takes about 30 minutes.
St James's Park
The park’s famous flower beds at the front of Buckingham Palace are a familiar backdrop to pageants including Trooping the Colour, as well as state visits and other ceremonial occasions.Enjoy impressive views of the lake and fountain from St James’s Café, watch the resident pelicans at feeding time, or while away a sunny afternoon in a deckchair.

Westminster Abbey
The Westminster Abbey is the coronation church of the English kings. During the Westminster Abbey tours you can admire the coronation chair. Free entrance with London Pass. Take Bus 24 from Corbigoe or opt for a 30 minute walk.
Westminster Cathedral
The Campanile Bell Tower, 273 ft in height, is dedicated to St Edward the Confessor. The Viewing Gallery of the Tower is 210ft above street level, is accessible by elevator and offers spectacular 360° views across London.
National Gallery
The National Gallery is the largest building in Trafalgar Square and particularly striking by the tall columns on the facade. Some steps lead up to the area in front of the building, which offers a good overview of the Square. The entrance to the National Gallery, the famous London art museum, is free.
Tate Gallery
There is no shortage of things to do in the area: Art lovers can travel direct from the Tate Britain (10min walk from hotel) to the Tate Modern using the RB2 Tate to Tate service. The service runs every 30 minutes and offers the chance to take in the Thames and its stunning surroundings – before heading back inside to see some of the finest collections of contemporary art in the world.
Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history. The Dinosaurs gallery (Blue Zone) is worldwide known and belongs to the main attractions at the museum. This is one of three major museums on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, the others being the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
